Topic 1: Personal Fittings and Travel

1a ) Can I schedule a personal fitting? Please contact our coordinator at mailto:customclothiers@customclothiers.cc to schedule a personal fitting and design session with one of our expert designers. We are happy to assist as needed. (Back)

1b ) Can someone travel to my location? We commonly visit our clients in major cities in the United States to assist with the design of their wardrobes based on need. 1c ) Where do you travel on a regular basis? We commonly travel to the following locations with great frequency - South Florida (Palm Beach / Miami) - New York - San Francisco - Dallas - Raleigh/Durham - Washington D.C. - Chicago - Birmingham, AL - Atlanta - London (UK). We have local designer contact telephone numbers in the cities that we visit most often. Please feel free to contact us locally or via our toll free number to schedule a personal visit to your area. 2a ) How do I know if Custom Clothiers is the designer for me? Don´t just take our word for it - Read the comments of our clients - our clients are the best judges of our services & we strive for total satisfaction with each and every order. 2b ) Big & Tall Sizes? We never up-charge for big & tall or large sizes. The prices shown on the website are the prices for everyone - no matter the size - Please e-mail us for more details! (Back)

2c ) Can I order for others? - family - friends etc? You can of course order for members of your family or friends. You will need to set up a new measurement profile using the personal design file feature and assign the new profile a name, you will need to add measurements to this profile before being able to purchase for this person. Alternatively a gift certificate may be purchased if you would like for the measurements to be provided by the friend or family member. (Back)


Topic 3: Designs & Fabrics

3a ) Where can I review a selection of available fabrics? There is no one place that the fabrics can be viewed at our website at once since the fabrics depend not only on the collection you select but also the item and style that you select. When visiting our European collection for example, please select the category, such as double breasted suites, then please select the style you would like, and when clicking on the image of the style, you will be taken to the page that lists the fabrics available in that category. Upon clicking on the name of the fabric, you will be able to view a selection of available colors. Selecting one of these will show the actual swatch in the box above the selected style. Clicking on the ´ok´ button will add the item in that material and color to your shopping cart. (Back)

3b ) Can Custom Clothiers create any style? If you would like for us to custom create clothing to a style not shown in one of our collections, we can do this if the image file or a link to an online image is e-mailed to us along with the order or before placing the order for our confirmation and further instructions. We can also have one of our expert fashion designers contact you to create a truly personal piece. Our e-mail address is customclothiers@CustomClothiers.cc Please contact us for more information. 3c ) Can a custom piece be created from an image - photo etc.- or can a piece be custom designed especially for me? We can custom create a piece of clothing as per the specific style you would like. Please e-mail us an image in a .jpg format and ensure the size of the image is not more than 50 kilobytes. Alternatively, you might like to e-mail us a link to an online image. This can be sent to the following e-mail address along with your customer ID and / or order ID - customclothiers@customstyle.net (Back)

3d ) What is the difference in the Palm Beach, New York & European collections? The fabrics in our Palm Beach collections have a higher synthetic composition making them more wrinkle resistant and easy to maintain. These fabrics are excellent for travel. The New York collection contains imported fabrics with minimal synthetic content. They have a softer drape and hand. These fabrics are richer in look and feel. Should budgetary constraints not be an issue, we recommend our European or New York collections for your suiting needs and the Palm Beach collection for your shirts as the best option. The European fabrics are all imported from countries like Italy, France, and England and are all pure wools, cashmeres etc. unless otherwise specified. These materials do not contain any synthetic fibers. It is not unusual though for first time clients to order from our Palm Beach collection to confirm the fit and cut of the garment before investing in higher priced selections. (Back)

3e ) Can I order fabric swatches? You may order swatches as per your requirements. Please use our online swatch form to select a maximum of 10 different fabric and color choices that interest you most so that swatches of these can be mailed. We now charge a small shipping and handling fee of $10 per selection to cover the cost of assembly and postage. You will receive a discount code in your sample package that will more than return your small investment in beginning your perfect wardrobe. Please use this form to facilitate your request. (Back)


Topic 4: Measurements

4a ) What if I am not a standard size & difficult to fit? e.g. an athletic physique or large mid-section or large neck or long arms? Since we specialize in Custom Designs, we are able to create each garment to specifications provide for each individual client. It is in fact the reason for our existence that we are able to custom fit any piece of clothing to suit the physical properties of each client. Our garments are created to suit the individual needs of our clients. We start with the design and measurements to cut your individual pattern to create your perfect fit. We have created garments for clients requiring special fit requirements for years. Examples of our special fit clients range from bodybuilders who are Guinness book record holders for size as well as clients who have had waist measurements up to 77". Tall is also not a problem as we have created clothing for heights of 7 feet and beyond. (Back)

4b ) Can my measurements be updated after order submission? Yes the measurements can be easily updated after or before an order has been placed if previous measurements have been submitted. This can be done by accessing your design file at our website. (Back)

4c ) I have ordered from your company previously, but cannot find my measurements profile in my design database. Are my measurements on file? If you have used our services before, we do have your measurements on file. You may contact us for a confirmation. There are a few reasons why the measurements are not showing in your design file. The most probable reason is that although you have used our web services before - you have most likely used a previous version of our website whereby the measurements submitted were not added to the new database. Due to logistical difficulties, we only update your online measurements profile once an order has been received via the new version of our website. The measurements will then be updated in due course as we process your order. A second reason why the measurements may not be displayed in your profile is that we used a sample sent for replication. The measurements of the sample are therefore not updated in your design file even though we do have on file your sample´s specifications. (Back)

4d ) Can measurements be updated or changed? Yes the measurements can be easily updated after an order has been received in two ways. Either by completing and submitting the measurements feedback form that is E-mailed a few days after order dispatch or by logging into your account at our website and viewing the measurements profile. 4e ) How can I be sure of a perfect fit? - This is the internet after all? We have been working online for years but have been customizing apparel for generations. Hence there is a respectable amount of experience and knowledge of the tailoring world behind us. About half of our online clients are repeat clients who were once new to us online. Of the hundreds of suits we produce in an average month, we have very few that need to be returned or replaced. Through our work over the past years, we have devised a measurement calculation that works quite well to complete any measurement that is either deleted or submitted incorrectly thus reducing the probability that a garment will arrive without the proper fit. Because we are accessible from any part of the world via e-mail, any potential problems become minor because of our very strong commitment to continued and open correspondence with our clients. Please review our customer testimonials and guestbook to read for why people are buying clothing in a new way and never looking back. Rest assured that if any adjustments are needed - we stand behind our work and will make every situation right for our clients. In regards to Measurements - our measurement forms are the most comprehensive among all available online. Details such as ethnic background, favorite activities etc. are all taken into account to ensure correct proportioning and fit. This information allows us to know if a certain measurement detail is correct or otherwise. Someone for example who plays football, would be more comfortable in pants that were proportioned with larger than standard front of the thighs and someone who lifts weights for example, would be more comfortable with a wider than usual back for jackets. Our designers also personally review the measurement information submitted to check for discrepancies. When such discrepancies are discovered, we ask for clarification and verification as well as supply guidelines as to what we feel the correct measurement should be. Only after receiving a confirmation from the client do we proceed with the order. We also request from our clients their front, back and side view images so that we have the most comprehensive information available to create the best fitting clothing possible. (Back)


Topic 5: The Ordering Process

5a ) How can I purchase a gift for someone? Buying a gift of custom clothing is simple. You can place gift orders for others as well as be able to purchase certificates to be redeemed for custom clothing by the recipient. You can order the custom garments of your choice or select the style that you like and let the recipient submit his/her measurements or even select the item only and let the receiver choose the style, fabric, and color he/she would like custom designed. If selecting a fixed value gift, a link to our home page will be e-mailed to the receiver along with your message. You will need to select the option of sending the home page link on the recipient´s information submission page. If a particular item is being given, you need to go to the appropriate category in the appropriate collection and can select the style if you wish. After having made your choices, please select the "buy a gift" feature from the menu on your left. You will be taken to the page where the recipient´s information will be submitted and a link to the selected style will be e-mailed to the recipient. If you would like to have the gift delivered to yourself and personally give it to the recipient, please do not use the "buy a gift" feature, but simply add the recipient´s measurements into the custom design file feature first. After the measurements have been added to your account and this profile given a name, you will then be able to order the gift to be delivered directly to yourself, by simply placing the item in your shopping cart. 5b ) I don´t know what to choose - Do you have professionals available for design assistance? You may always ask for suggestions from one of our professional image consultants. We are here to assist as needed. Our Image Consultants will ask a few basic questions which will when submitted, will be followed within 24 hours by a response customized to your wardrobe requirements. Our image consultants will be able to suggest the most ideal fabric for your needs, the perfect style for your physique and colors as well as the ideal designs that you should have in your wardrobe. This is true customization in every sense of the word since our designers will be working closely with you to ensure your complete satisfaction. (Back)

5c ) What are off-site purchases? There are purchases made directly through on of our representatives, e-mailed offers, auctions, etc.. Basically these are purchases not made directly through our website. (Back)

5d ) What are wardrobe builder specials & How do I take advantage of such specials? Our Wardrobe Specials are designed to help create, complete or replace your existing wardrobe. They also offer a wonderful opportunity to purchase several items at once at a savings to you. Simply visit the Wardrobe Specials page and select the Clothing Package you prefer. Click on the Special that suits you best and on the following pages, you will be asked to add the details of each item in the Special, into the appropriate fields. To add the details of design, fabrics and colors to each of the fields for a particular piece - click on the button provided to view the available selections for that item. Click on the option best suited to your taste and add it to the field. For example, if you have selected a suit and three shirts, click on the package and you will arrive at a page with fields to include the fabric, style and color information for the suit and the shirts. Click on the buttons provided to make the choice of styles and a new window will appear with the style choices available. Select the choice you like best and click on the image of that style. The window will now close and the style number will be added to the appropriate field. The same system will need to be used for selecting colors, fabrics and Special Requests. Clicking on Submit will add the items to your shopping cart. Accessories such as Custom monogramming, special lining, hand stitched lapels, actuating sleeve buttons etc. will need to be selected separately by clicking on the shopping cart icon on the top right and choosing the accessories link next to each item in the package to add the available accessories. 5e ) How do I add monograms or other special requests to pieces purchased as wardrobe builder specials? Accessories such as Custom monogramming, contrast lining, brass buttons, hand stitching, actuating sleeve buttons etc. may be selected separately by clicking on the shopping cart icon on the top right and choosing the accessories link next to each item in the package to add the available accessories. 5f ) Can I make changes to the designs shown? How? Yes you can make changes or customizations to styles offered on our website. This can be done in the special requests page that is available after the style has been selected. (Back)

5g ) How do I order? Ordering from Custom Designed - Custom Tailored Clothing has never been easier. We provide all of the tools to make your custom design experience as simply as possible. First, you should visit one of our collections or if you already know the style you prefer, you can use our design search feature to find your personal style. After selecting from one of the collections, you will need to select the type of garment you desire. After selecting a design, you will then be shown the different fabrics available and the available colors. Choose a color and the available fabrics will appear in an expanded view for your consideration. To confirm a color - click OK. You will then be asked if your design is for you or someone else with a profile added to your account. You may add additional profiles using your personal design file feature. You will then be taken to the special request page. You will be able to add special design requirements during this step - such as monogram requests or special design requests to truly personalize your new custom clothing. You may then purchase any accessories available to complete your perfect look. Depending on your selection of custom garment, we may customize suggestions for complementing pieces for further orders. After having completed your selections, you will then proceed to the checkout page. For your shopping convenience, your order totals will remain visible at all times at the top right of every page beside the shopping cart icon. You will then be asked to select priority processing if on a deadline. You will then input your billing and shipping addresses to ensure safe and expedient delivery via FedEx 2 day express. After finishing the payment submission process, you will be prompted to submit your measurements if not already on file. That´s It! Your fully customized clothing will be completed within fourteen to twenty days and delivered directly to you! (Back)


Topic 6: Payments

6a ) What do you charge for shipping / Who is your delivery company? Shipping and Handling charges are 20% of your total order shipped via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail to your home or office. Please keep in mind that a two-piece suit weights approximately 4 pounds, a cotton shirt is at least 1 pound and a pair of trousers weighs approximately 2 pounds. (Back)

6c ) How secure is the online payment information? Custom Clothiers offers the most state of the art security possible. No credit card information is stored on our databases and no sensitive information is retained. All information gathered of a non-sensitive nature is retained and used by Custom Clothiers to customize your interaction with our company. 6d ) What is the cvv/cvc number on my credit card? These are security features designed by the credit card company to protect you (the card holder) and us (the merchant) from fraudulent activity. The CVV/CVC number is a three digit number displayed at the back of the card in the same strip as the signature after the last four digits of the card number printed at the back on the same strip. This is a security measure initiated by Visa and MasterCard for "Card not present" transactions such as those on the Internet. (Back)

6e ) Why has my payment been queued? Your order has been queued due either to the fact that the card information provided was incorrect or due to our randomly instigated security measures that screen the order placement manually and process the payment manually to prevent fraudulent activity on the card submitted and on our website. This is a security measure that protects both the card holder and the merchant from fraud on the Internet. Fraud is a major concern for our company and we do try our best to protect our clients and the card holders as much as we can. Should all the card information provided be correct, please do not resubmit the payment but await our response in 24 hours if the payment and order has been processed or additional information will be required. Should payment have been processed, you will receive a digital receipt confirming the payment. (Back)

6f ) Why is my order still pending even though I have received a payment confirmation? The order is still pending due either to our having not received the complete details of the order or due to the fact that we have not updated your account as yet. Please wait for a further 24 hours to view the latest update to the status of your order. (Back)


Topic 7: Order Status

7a ) When should I expect my order? It takes approximately 2 - 3 weeks to complete an order for shipment. The production time may vary depending on the availability of fabric or if information is omitted by the client or if additional information is requested from the client to complete the order. Federal Holidays will also delay production as our offices are closed so that we may take time to spend with our families. As soon as your order completes and passes through our vigorous quality inspection process, your order will be delivered to you via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx directly to your home or office. Our quality department may delay your order by requesting an item reworked or remade to ensure the proper creation of your garment. This may delay your garment depending on the complexity of the work necessary to ensure proper construction. We want all of our garments to ship 100% correct with a perfect fit everytime. Sometimes this does take a bit longer, but as our clients tell us - "the end result is worth any wait". Depending on availability, swatch sets if ordered, may take longer since if new sets are being prepared, the labor intensive project might take a bit longer to prepare. (Back)

7b ) How do I check the status of my order? Use your e-mail address to log into your personal design file using your e-mail address to check the status of your order, or contact us directly at customclothiers@CustomClothiers.cc (Back)

7c ) How do I track my order? You can do this by logging into your account using your e-mail address and viewing the status of the order thereof in your current orders page. (Back)

7d ) I need my clothing on a deadline - Do you have priority processing? This option allows our clients to have their order executed in the most expedient manner possible. This is the perfect option if you are ordering on a deadline. This option does not guarantee delivery by a certain date, but does move your order to the front of the production queue. We will make every effort to ensure delivery by the deadline. Our current rate for Priority Service is 15% premium of the total order. (Back)

7e ) Why is my order pending This is because either the payment has not been processed on your order or we are still awaiting additional information before proceeding (Back)

Topic 9: Return Policy

9a ) What is the return policy at Custom Clothiers? Custom Clothiers is dedicated to maintaining total customer satisfaction. Should there be an inadvertent error made on our part, we will make the necessary adjustments and/or replacements and reship the order to the client - totally free of charge. We do ask that all final fittings be attempted locally by a local alteration professional prior to submitting any garments for alterations by our company and require written instructions from a local alteration expert to be included with all claims. In most cases it is best to have a local expert work with the garment to ensure that it is altered properly to the body type of our client. Alteration claims must be submitted via e-mail within 5 days of receipt of the order and items must be delivered to our office within 14 days of the delivery date in order to have alterations completed. Custom Clothiers is not responsible for alterations or changes to garments that have not been returned to our office within 14 days of delivery. If the client has supplied the incorrect measurements, we will make adjustments at no obligation on the client´s part, but return shipping and handling is the responsibility of the client. We are not responsible for any preferences of the client not set forth before production begins. (for example - if a client orders a peak lapel - then after receiving the garment decides that he/she has a preference for a notch lapel - or if a fabric selection is not the exact color or look the client envisions - we are not responsible -) We are only responsible for the design as contracted at the time of order. An order cannot be cancelled once it has been placed. This is because once an order has been placed, custom clothiers sources the appropriate fabric and purchases the materials from our suppliers on behalf of our client. Under our terms with suppliers, fabrics once ordered cannot be cancelled as the materials are cut as soon as ordered. In cases of large orders, should it be mutually agreed to by the client and Custom Clothiers that an initial small shipment be sent to confirm measurements and fit, (to ensure that should minor adjustments be required, this be handled by Custom Clothiers before shipping the remainder of the order); the balance of the order shipped cannot be cancelled. This is because Custom Clothiers would have proceeded with and completed the full order, holding only the major part for fit and comfort confirmation by the client before shipping. In case of changes being required to an order after having been placed, this can only be confirmed at the discretion of our master tailors since confirmation of any changes will depend on the stage of production completed. We of course attempt to incorporate any changes to an order to the best of our abilities and circumstances.
